1“If Vienna Talks Fail…”
Spokesman for the Islamic Consultative Assembly’s National Security Commission threatened the western parties in the Vienna Talks. Meshkini repeated regime’s rhetoric and blamed everything on the US if the negotiations fail, saying: “If they fail, we have other options to pursue!”

Islamic Republic Foreign Ministry summoned the Swedish charge d’affaires in Iran to “strongly object the insult to Quran and Islam” in the country. Spokesman for the Ministry also reacted to the ablaze Quran. Saeed Khatibzadeh demanded Swede government to “end insulting Quran” in the country once and for all!
3“Dreaded Wolf Nest!”
Ali Bagheri-Kani, Deputy Foreign Minister, warned the Arab countries in the region for having relations with Israel: “It’s like taking refuge in dreaded wolf’s nest.” He said the countries will face their doom fate soon.
4Vahid Bagheri Denied Conditional Release
“I’m the sole breadwinner of 2 families, have lost 2 of my loved ones in my 19months prison time” but the Islamic Republic officials refuses to give the political prisoner a conditional release. He was arrested for participating in November 2019 protests. He published an open letter, asking the officials to be released.
5New Christian Convert Summoned to Prison
Sakineh Behjati was charged with “propaganda against the regime” and sentenced to 2 years in prison! She started her sentence in Rasht prison from April 16, 2022.
7“New Projects in Iraq for Shrines!”
While Iranians are starving and poverty runs deep into every family in the country, the Islamic Republic is spending 1.3 trillion toman in Iraq for “renovation of the holy shrines,” and building “new shrines for religious personas!”
8Mysterious Blasts and Quakes
Ilam and Kermanshah have been the scene of loud blast noises and earthquakes without officials having any explanation. The latest incident was yesterday, April 16 in Ilam province where an IRGC base is located. Officials have confirmed there has been no earthquake in the region. In January, while officials refused to provide any explanation for one of these incidents in Kermanshah, Israel confirmed it has attacked the IRGC depo.
