1,499 new cases and 89 deaths in the past 24 hours are the official numbers announced by Ministry of Health Spokesman, Jahanpur. He said, “319,879 tests have been done so far across the country.” In the meantime, Siamak Samiei, the head of Ministry of Health’s Reference Lab, said, “We had the capability of testing for coronavirus since late January. It wasn’t specific for COVID-19 but Pancoronavirus. We had tested the suspected cases but they were all negative.” This is contrary to other officials claiming they didn’t have test kits to diagnose coronavirus! And while they brag about manufacturing thousands of tests every day, Samiei said, “We still need to import test kits.” Any guesses as why?!

Growth factor above 1 shows exponential growth and no slowing down. Although the officials don’t care and keep lying, even though people are dying. They keep falsify the numbers. The number of admitted patients decreased 425 since yesterday but 1,835 were added to the “healed” category. Everything is being done to keep the “death rate” around 8%, 1% less than few days ago!
The streets are busier than ever throughout the country and everybody is at risk. All experts, including Ministry of Health officials have warned of a second and probably bigger wave in the next week or so. This is a video from a citizen running away from Tehran’s cemetery because it’s become so crowded and nobody wearing masks/gloves. Just because Rouhani and the government had assured them that everything is fine!
Islamic Republic is full of contradictions, lies and corruption. None of the helps sent to Iran for people didn’t reach the citizens. Rouhani administration trying its best to save the regime from collapsing but to no avail. Apart from “maximum pressure”, Iranians are tired of all cruelty, discrimination, nepotism, cronyism, corruption, and terrorism. Islamic Republic regime is a ticking time bomb, ready to explode and implode at the same time, just need a small spark! Something like what happened in November 2019 couldn’t be controlled by the regime anymore.
