The novel coronavirus crisis is getting worse by the day. The number of deaths has increased again, for the third day in a row. Sima Sadat Lari, the Ministry of Health Spokesperson, announced 203 deaths and 2,349 new cases have been confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours, which don’t match local reports or even official provincial reports. Shortage of masks, gloves, hospital beds, and other supplies is prevalent all over Iran would naturally lead to more cases and deaths. As it has in the past few days, even in the “official” stats. Many healthcare professionals from all provinces have tested positive and a few have sacrificed their lives during the past week.
Sima Sadat Lari also mentioned the names of “red” and “alarming” provinces. According to her, Khuzestan, Khorasan Razavi, West Azerbaijan and Mazandaran fall into the first category and Tehran, Fars, Kerman, Alborz, Kohgiloyeh-Boyerahmad, Golestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan and East Azerbaijan are in the latter. It’s all about what Islamic Republic has been doing since day 1, lying on national TV and keeping people in the dark about other provinces!
According to officials from Khuzestan, North Khorasan, Hormozgan, Golestan and Khorasan Razavi provinces, more and more children and infants have passed away from the disease. A member of National Corona Prevention Committee said 15% of cases and 3% of deaths have been 3-16 years old and children 0-3 years old include 1% of deaths. That means, based on official, fake and undercounted numbers of regime’s Ministry of Health, at least 391 children between 3-16 years old and 130 children under 3 years old have passed on due to COVID-19. Confirming what Dr. Kermanpour has said yesterday, Deputy Health Minister said, “1/3 of patients in Bushehr province ICUs are young adults.” However, he stopped short of providing any stats, as the Ministry has stopped giving out separate provincial stats since March 22. It makes it easier to manipulate when they just give out general numbers.

Some believe this could be intentional. While nothing is too far fetched for this cruel regime, it more looks like they just don’t have any clue on how to manage a crisis, no matter the nature of it. Even some of their own are getting killed, like today, one of the new “parliament representatives” died of the virus. The problem is, the totalitarian regime only knows how to suppress people. In their latest brilliant ideas, the “deputy Attorney General in “Human Rights” Affairs”, threatened whomever causing spread of the disease by not wearing a mask and killing a person, will be subject to retaliation (revenge)! Isn’t that ironic for his title?!
