Everyone including Persian language media is focused on George Floyd’s murder and what’s happening in the US and forgetting about the many people dying every day in Iran due to Islamic Republic’s incompetence, corruption and lies. While everyone claims any single life is sacred and must be protected, they were all silent when the Islamic Republic brutally crushed its own people in November 2019, and now it’s like everything is back to normal! COVID-19 is taking at least 3 Iranian lives every hour on average based on undercounted Islamic Republic’s Ministry of Health, and not a single human rights or international organizations has raised any concern!
Islamic Republic officials blame people for the crisis but the reality is different. The main problem is the regime being scared of another uprising to its core, like the one in November 2019, which it will not be able to control any more. 10 provinces including East & West Azerbaijan, Hormozgan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Bushehr, Qazvin, Khorasan Razavi and Sistan-Baluchestan are in alarming situation while Khuzestan remains red! Qazvin is the new addition to the growing list of critical provinces. South Khorasan is another one with soaring number of infected cases. Since there is no restrictions, there will be more provinces joining that list pretty soon.
Today, Kianoush Jahanpour, the Ministry of Health Spokesman, announced 3,134 new cases and 60 deaths have been confirmed since yesterday. That’s the second day in a row with more than 3,000 new infections and if restrictions are not back in place, this time around, the catastrophe may hit people even harder since they don’t expect it and under heavy propaganda by the government, think everything is “under control.” In the meantime, head of Tehran Transfusion Organization warns about shortage of blood in capital since the elective surgeries have been started in the hospitals. He asked Tehran residents to not forget about the patients in need, especially the ones with negative blood groups.
Islamic Republic officials cannot even claim they couldn’t see this coming this time! Health experts have been warning about this for weeks! Even the graphs based on their fake and manipulated statistics could predict all this.
