Ministry of Health Spokesman, Kianoush Jahanpur, announces 2,294 new cases since yesterday. That’s the highest number of daily confirmed cases since April 5, and an increase in deaths to 69! However, Rabiei, government’s spokesman, arrogantly says, “We’ve done great so far. The number of “white counties” have increased to 280. We’re the third country on the list of recoveries after China and Switzerland. The average recoveries is about 94% in Iran while it is 84% in the world.”
This was to complete the picture of Corona Match going on between Islamic Republic and the rest of the world! Yesterday, Khamenei had praised the crisis management skills of the government, saying compared to the west, it has caused the people to feel proud of our advancements, just like how they have felt when Nour Satellite was sent to space! Two days ago, Saeed Namaki, the Health Minister, had said, “Corona could score a goal at the 90th minute and defeat us”, comparing Corona to a soccer (football) match! He continued, “In controlling COVID-19, we’re 5-1 ahead against US and EU.”
On the other hand, Jahanpur has confirmed what we had reported days ago, “Lorestan, South of Kerman, South of Sistan&Baluchestan, Kermanshah and North Khoarasan are in “alarming” situation.” Bushehr Governor announced its province is in “red” condition! He said, “The 79 infected cases for today alone are fifth of the total confirmed cases since the beginning of the outbreak.”
Tehran Governor played another defender role in the Corona Match saying, “We’ve only had 24 deaths among 1,470 disabled care centers residents such as Kahrizak, however, there have been more than 14,000 in the UK and more than 40% in the US.” I have no idea how their scoreboard works, or where they get their info from, but I don’t see a win anywhere after close to 90 days in the “field”.
Today’s stats proves once more that Islamic Republic is way over its head with its crisis and is trying to “contain” it with psychological warfare and propaganda!
