This means even more people at risk of infection! Another directive was to reopen the outside areas of the holy shrines in Mashhad, Qom, Shiraz,…on May 25, which have been closed since March 16! Previously, they were supposed to be open 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, but now, they would be open from sunrise to sunset, increasing the chance of infection spread even more.The museums will reopen from tomorrow and decision about travel agencies was postponed to the next week meeting.
Rouhani reiterated, “We are in the containment stage of the virus, even though there are some problems in some parts of the country but we’ve done a great job and we’re happy about the progress we have made so far in controlling the virus.” This has been the talking point of officials for WEEKS now but the number of infected provided by those same officials show a different story!
Rouhani also talked about the decline in deaths, which is again wrong, if anything it has been in the same range since the beginning. 8 people have died more than yesterday, 59 to 51! Let’s not forget, it’s Eid Fitr holidays and therefore, less people go to hospitals for anything! The graphs show the new wave in the country has started since May 3, three weeks after the country reopened on April 11, and 2 weeks after Tehran reopened on April 18! The critical case number has remained in the same range as well.

While people need to be cautious, rumors harm us more.” It’s worth mentioning, according to FATA’s Chief (cyberpolice), 320 people have been arrested recently due to their activity concerning COVID-19 on social media.
