Gholamreza Jalali, commander of “Passive Defense Organization of Iran”, confessed the Islamic Republic knew about COVID-19 and the suspected in the country since December 2019, about 3 months earlier than the official announcement. In his interview on national TV, when he was trying to portray the previous administration as the sole culprit in the crisis, he explicitly said military took their advice but other organizations did not take it seriously! However, he failed to mention that Khamenei, the “Supreme Leader” of the regime, called COVID-19 a “fake disease” and encouraged everybody to participate in the Islamic Republic’s sham election in February 2020. Jalali also failed to mention anything about reports of Supreme National Security Council hiding the truth about the novel coronavirus in late 2019! The massacre that has been going on in Iran, is on the whole system, not just one person or few people.
Even now, low 3-dose vaccination with the ineffective and unapproved Sinopharm, despite WHO recommendation for 3 shots of this vaccine, has not stopped the Islamic Republic from reopening all schools, universities, and businesses including gyms, movies,… The public transportation system is filled to the rims but regime’s Health Minister is dividing credits and celebrating the end of COVID-19 in Iran! Official data show since February 9, only 864,992 (1.02% of population) have received 3 doses of these vaccines.
Meanwhile, health experts warn about the current wave in neighboring countries and Europe, saying Iran will not be immune. Head of Zanjan Medical University says not to take the “1000-face novel coronavirus” that evades the immune system every time, lightly! “Don’t be fooled” by low numbers, Ghezelbash emphasized.
The Ministry of Health Spokesperson claimed 95 have died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and 4,813 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Professor of Epidemiology at Tehran University believes these numbers must be multiplied by 7 and Civil Registration Organization data show more than 309,000 have died of the disease since February 2020. Graphs illustrate the ongoing crisis in Iran and forming of the new wave.
