COVID-19 cases have increased 60.6% in the past 5 days and hospitalizations 32.11%, indicating about half of cases have been admitted to hospitals. Health experts believe in the next 10 days, hospitalizations, especially in ICUs, will increase, shaping the sixth wave of COVID-19 in Iran. This analysis is based on the manipulated statistics of the Islamic Republic Ministry of Health, which according to epidemiologists, show 1/7 of the reality!
While daily death toll remains above 200, Ebrahim Raisi claims with accelerated vaccination across the country, “the COVID-19 is almost controlled!” As if 200+ deaths every day is not a humanitarian catastrophe, let alone it could be 7 times more than that!
