28 provinces remain critical according to Sima Sadat Lari. Epidemiology Committee of National Task Force released its report for the week ending in September 11. It shows 12 provinces including Tehran have seen “beginning of a peak or an uptrend,” 6 have a slow uptrend and 10 experience a “stable condition with small and inconsistent changes,” and 3 have “mismatched data making it impossible to evaluate.” That’s another way of saying records are filed either late or doesn’t match the testing data. That’s all beside the fact that all data have been faked and proven to be engineered.
While Tehran, the capital and most populous city of Iran, is in red condition and is experiencing a peak, Tehran Governor announced that “remote working” will be canceled across the province from next Saturday. He also confirmed that cases have increased in the past week! At the same time, Tehran Police sent random text messages to thousands of people summoning them to go in-person to their nearest “Guidance Police Office” because they were seen without “hijab” in their cars! However, it looks like they also have sent these text messages to clerics and men too! Another futile attempt by the regime to distract people from devastating news of Navid Afkari execution which has led to worldwide outrage!
On the other hand, 39 students in 1 school in Lorestan province tested positive for coronavirus, between 5-12 September, all aged between 7-17 and all went to school in person! The Governor said 18 were infected on 10-11 September, and the majority are elementary school students. Education Minister of Islamic Republic has changed his mind 2 days before schools reopening and mandated in-person attendance for all students across the country. After backlash from all levels of the society, he backed down and made it voluntary. However, it was too late!
While many provincial officials have warned about the new peak and increasing number of cases, Sima Sadat Lari announced 2,089 new cases and 128 deaths in the past 24 hours. Active cases reached a new high since COVID-19 pandemic began in Iran and critical cases continue to rise. Testing remains at its usual low level and fatality rate has remained at 6.3 while it’s around 4% the rest of the world!
