COVID-19 continues its massacre in Iran, thanks to deliberate mismanagement of the crisis by the Islamic Republic and banning of US and UK made vaccines by regime’s “Supreme Leader.” Today, Shargh daily newspaper quoting Islamic Republic “parliament” representatives, confirmed IranTrue’s report about “Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order” finding an oil well in “manufacturing COVIran Barekat.” The organization which is directly under Khamenei and its former CEO, the current regime’s Vice President, had promised 50million doses by September 22, have been paid $1billion for 120million doses but has “delivered” only 5m!
Islamic Republic media is filled with “good news” on the vaccination process and its speed, using propaganda to further their own cause. Regime officials have been using the word “vaccination” or “vaccinated” for people who receive only 1 dose of the ineffective vaccines. However, health experts warn that if the complete vaccination is not done “3-4 times faster,” it could have adverse effects! Dr. Alavi from Ahvaz Medical University also rebuked the government for “changing the color of cities overnight” which reduces restrictions and the virus rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister is thinking of “breaking records in weekly vaccine administration!” While most developed countries have finished vaccinating their willing population, Eynollahi is competing with the remainder of those populations, praising his work. He also claimed 17-year-old students will receive a “special vaccine” from next week to be prepared for Konkour (National University Entrance Exam). He did not mention the name or source of the vaccine. Yesterday, Red Crescent officials announced it would be either Soberana 02 or Sinopharm. Eynollahi also insists on opening universities with in-person classes from November. However, in one example, Hormozgan officials say it takes at least 3 months to vaccinate all of their students.
National COVID-19 Task Force Spokesman repeated Defense Minister’s claim that Fakhra will be added to the vaccination basket from next month. Dr. Raisi made the assertion that 4 “homegrown vaccines” will enter the market. He also claimed in the next 48 days, all eligible people in Iran will be vaccinated. He did not offer any more details but “based on our capabilities, we can,” raising the question why it hadn’t happened before and Islamic Republic caused the death of thousands of Iranians? According to a “representative of the Islamic Republic parliament,” Saeed Namaki was insistent on producing “COVIran Barekat,” hindering the efforts to import vaccines. However, he failed to mention Khamenei as the beneficiary of “Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order.”
The Ministry of Health claimed total of 37,866,551 shots have been administered with only 12,772,767 (15.20% of Iran population) receiving both doses, since February 9, 2021.
Delta variant has not finished yet, even though Islamic Republic officials would like to announce otherwise. In Fars, 19 died in 24 hours and hospitalizations remain high and head of Shiraz Medical University warned that the current decline in some provinces must not “fool us.” Khorasan Razavi reports some of its cities are still in critical condition.
Sima Sadat Lari announced 408 died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours across the country and 22,329 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Civil Registration Organization data indicate more than 277,000 have died of the disease since February 2020, and Professor Holakoui from Tehran University believes official data are at least 1/7 of the reality. Islamic Republic officials have been unable to provide any details on sequencing and type of strains circulating in the country due to lack of capabilities and will.
