Officials from all over the country warn about the increasing number of cases, from NW to SE, N to S and SW to NE, all provincial officials are worried about new wave of patients, shortages in hospitals, and exhausted staff. He also didn’t say anything about the announcement from Friday Prayers Committee, an organization directly under his supervision, which would hold Friday Prayers from September 25 across the country! Also according to Saeed Namaki and other officials 70% of the 1Billion EURO he had “allowed” to be withdrawn from National Development Fund to contain coronavirus is missing and hasn’t reached the Ministry of Health! He stopped short of declaring “national emergency”, strict restrictions or announcing any kind of help to alleviate people’s sufferings!
Sima Sadat Lari was busy today, attending two separate press conference. At first she gave some details about 1.5million flu vaccine being distrbuted for high risk population only, prioritizing rural pregnant women, then older individuals and so on! But apparently there will be shortage of flu vaccine in its high season! At her daily show, she announced 3,341 new COVID-19 cases and 177 deaths in the past 24 hours. Daily testing remains in the same range, positivity rate increases to 12.5% and active cases soars through the roof! Critical cases remain a mystery!
