As reported yesterday, the number of cases continue to rise while Islamic Republic has intended to bring the sixth wave of COVID-19 to Iran faster than its natural timing. After all, the coronavirus has become a successful business for the theocratic regime. According to the official data, which are 7 times less than reality based on Professor Holakoui estimation, in the past 24 hours, 14,470 tested positive for the novel coronavirus and 289 died of COVID-19 in the country. Civil Registration Organization data indicate more than 287,000 have passed away from the deadly disease since February 2020.

Meanwhile, religious gatherings keeps spreading the Delta and other strains of the virus. Officials admit more than 80,000 have made it to Iraq, when Iraqis have only issued permits for 60,000! The score of people will be arriving in Iran in the next few days, some through land and some via flights. However, how these “pilgrims” would be screened for COVID-19 on their way back remain a concern for health experts. Roads Minister says “no PCR test, diagnosing with eye!” Another official says, “2,500 buses are ready to bring them back.” Red Crescent Society claims they are “prepared” to screen “potential cases” with “rapid tests” and no PCR! Besides Arbaeen, funeral of “Grand Ayatollah” Hasanzadeh-Amoli was held with huge crowd and no protocol.
The ineffective Sinopharm keeps being imported and used, even on children 3-17! According to the Ministry of Health, 6m doses of Sinopharm was imported 2 days ago for children. Even though the vaccine is not approved by WHO or any other international health community, the Islamic Republic keeps bragging about the “flood of vaccine!” The Ministry of Health data indicate total of 51,950,783 shots have been administered in Iran since February 9 and only 15,646,961 (18.62% of population) have received both shots.
The graphs illustrate the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Iran in the past 19 months.
