New Committee Formed to Surveil Profile Pictures

Secretary of “Commanding Good & Forbidding Evil Base” (Morality police) in Khorasan Razavi province said the guidelines were devised years ago but never implemented. Now a new committee is formed in the base to surveil “employees of government entities not to use profile pictures without hijab on social media!” He added, some of the criteria are applied to men as well, “so they don’t use illegitimate photos!” According to an official from Islamic Consultative Assembly, all directives of the “Commanding Good & Forbidding Evil Base” are considered law. Norouzi said, “Raisi administration is determined to enforce the law!”

“Live Instagram” Led to Arrests

Deputy Chief of Cyber Police of the Islamic Republic announced “several citizens were arrested across the country for publishing immoral lives on Instagram.” Ramin Pashaei did not mention any details of the arrests or any evidence of any crime.

“Unveiling” Shuts Down Restaurants

3 institutions, “Commanding Good & Forbidding Evil Base,” an IRGC base and “Premises Police” (a division of municipality), closed down 3 coffee shops/restaurants in Qom because “they were not following hijab laws!” The targeted people were also cited while the owners have been summoned to “morality police!”

Earthquake Victims Neglected

The Islamic Republic stopped the search and rescue operation only a few hours after devastating 6.1M earthquake destroyed most of the Sayeh Khvosh village in Bandar Lengeh County of Hormozgan province. The regime continues to neglect the people who have lost their entire life savings/belongings. They are not even provided water, electricity and air conditioning in 96+ F weather.

Protests Continue

Social Security retirees and pensioners continue their protests across Iran. They demand better living conditions. The essential needs become more expensive by the hour and nothing is done by the Islamic Republic to control the unleashed prices.

Air Quality Dangerous for All

Tehran, Alborz and several other provinces are closed tomorrow due to dangerous air quality! Air pollution has been a major issue in Iran for years but Islamic Republic has done nothing to prevent/resolve the issue.

COVID-19 Surges Again

Dr. Younesian reported number of COVID-19 deaths are reaching 2-digit territory and hospitalizations have tripled in the past week! Secretary of COVID-19 Task Force warned about possible wave in the coming weeks and domination of BA4 and BA5 subvariant of Omicron. It is worth noting, the Islamic Republic Ministry of Health had reported 0 deaths for the past few weeks.
